Anne
Loud, Talkative, Popular, Jewish
Child of Otto Frank
Lover of family, friends, and writing
Who feels trapped, scared, and lonely
Who finds happiness in a boy named Peter
Who needs a place to be free from oppression
Who gives her family support
Who fears being found, never being a part of the outside world again, and being separated from her family
Who would like to see what it’s like to not be Jewish during that time
Who enjoys being with friends

I really enjoyed your poem! It truly captured who Anne Frank was. I've always wondered if she would of lived if she would of actually went through with publishing her diary.
ReplyDeleteI loved your poem! I have always loved the compelling story of Anne Frank. I read her diary many years ago and reading your poem helped me remember her story. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI agree! I love hearing things about Anne Frank and your poem brings back all those memories of this strong willed young woman!
ReplyDeleteI like your poem it is very cool and gives us a good description of Anne Frank. After I read this i remembered back to the seventh grade when we read her diary. I can remember that one of our assignments was to come up with a poem, as well i can still remember it and have a copy of it.
ReplyDeleteI weep, but do not cry
I wake, but do not sleep
I hear a whisper, but no one firmly speaks
I picture things, but can't explain what things go through my mind
I need a friend to comfort me, along the way as I die
that was my poem a little more sadness in mine and your is more up beat and that is cool to see how you have showed the goodness in her life!
