Assignment.2 Cameron Kluttz

When I think of a "good book" I automatically think of any of the Eric Carle books. I really loved reading all of his books when I was younger and to this day I really love looking back through all of them. I actually introduced myself as "The Hungry Caterpillar" the other day in class because it is for sure one of my favorites! I think all of his books are considered "good" because of how creative he is as an author and illustrator. I loved all the drawings and art work in the Hungry Caterpillar book and the lights in the back of the book of the Lonely Firefly. Also each book taught a lesson or moral through out the story. But overall I mostly enjoyed all the interactions each book had, the lights or the cricket noises, Eric Carle is a really great author.

  2. Those were some of my favorite books growing up as well. They captured the attention of young readers and involve them in the book. They're books they'll remember for a life time.

  3. The Hungry Caterpillar was so much fun to read as a child. As the author, Eric Carle really made it easy to get a child involved in the story, and as the illustrator having the pictures of all the food the caterpillar ate and showing him growing bigger and bigger was really imaginative and exciting!
