Assignment.2 Chelsea Bussey

Everyone has their opinion on what a makes a book good. My version of a good book does not have to be an award winner, extremely complicated to read or understand, or even teach a moral lesson. It is something that sucks someone, whom maybe not even like reading, into its world to the point that they can not pull away from it. It is also something a person can pick up anytime and have it be just as good as the first time they read it. Some good books are the Color Kittens, Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn, Adventures of Remi, any of the Thornton W. Burgess series, and Ender's Game. Good book is also the first pharse my 10 month old son put together.

  1. I agree! Some of my favorite "good" books are ones that I can read over and over without it getting old!

  2. I agree with you, a good book doesn't have to be an award winner. Just because a committee says its a "good book" doesn't mean it fits your interests. A good book captivates your attention and draws you in. Like Haley said, they are books you can read over and over without them ever getting old.

  3. I also agree that a good book is one that you can read countless times. I loved "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". I had to read it in middle school and actually enjoyed the homework that went along with it because it was such a wonderful and exciting story.
